This series of events focused on a few of the conservation "Hotspots" around the world. "Hotspots" are the twenty-five richest and most threatened reservoirs of plant and animal life on earth, as designated by Conservation International. Dr. Russ Mittermeier, President of Conservation International, gave overviews of the different "Hotspots" and led discussions on global conservation efforts.
